Greater Seattle Area

The Greater Seattle Area refers to the metropolitan region surrounding Seattle, Washington. It generally includes the three most populous counties in Washington State:

1. King County — Where Seattle itself is located (also includes cities like Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and Renton).

2. Snohomish County — Just north of Seattle (includes Everett, Lynnwood, Edmonds, and Marysville).

3. Pierce County — South of Seattle (includes Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, and Lakewood).

Together, these counties form the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), often referred to as the Puget Sound Region.
